How to Own Your Authentic Self

We’ve all done it before; maybe even on the daily.

I’m talking about comparison, and it feels inevitable these days.

Whether you get caught up in the Instagram hole or Facebook scroll, looking at other people’s lives, for entertainment, inspiration or maybe even to learn something new; chances are, you eventually get led to a profile that triggers your inner critic.

You start questioning your life — thinking about where you’re at, and feeling the gap between where you want to be.

Am I right?

You have a desire to grow, and because you’re not there (yet) it can feel like everyone you look up to has already achieved SO much — leading you to feel like you’ve failed, you’re inadequate, or not good enough.

Here’s a few things I have to say about that…

Don’t recognize someone else’s success, as being a limit to yours.

You have what it takes to make your dreams happen, just as she did.

You just have to make a choice that you REALLY want it, do the work (inner and outer), and have resilience to stick it out until it happens.

Basically, dream achieving isn’t easy or for the faint of heart.

You’ll be faced with challenges, obstacles and fear of the unknown — and the only thing that’ll be consistent is change.

Everyday, you have to make a conscious decision that what you say you want, is what you’re fully committed to, and that you believe you’re worth it. (Hint: you ARE worth it).

It’s easy to look on social media, and assume that the people we see as being successful have some sort of special gift, and the truth is, THEY DO.

Their gift is their unique, authentic truth — and you have one too.

That’s what makes you special, and there’s not one person in this entire world that has the same essence as you.

Once you focus on this, and make it a priority to fully express, you’ll become the brightest, most beautiful version of YOU — and you’ll attract the success you’ve been dreaming about.

Once you’ve decided if there’s enough room for all of us to succeed, I’d love to hear how this was for you.

What’s ONE thing that really matters to you, that you’re going to start committing to now?
