Have you ever thought about the power of your thoughts?

Seriously, think about it for a minute.

I want you to think about something that really bothers you. Visualize all the things you dislike about it. How it goes against what you believe in and what you want.

Take a moment now, and remember this feeling.

Now, think about something that brings you joy. Visualize all the reasons why you like it, and how aligned it is with your values and what you want.

Breathe in this moment. Take three deep breaths, truly feel it, as if you’re actually experiencing this positive thing.

After this quick and brief exercise, it’s very likely that you experienced a shift in how you feel.

You see, your thoughts impact how you feel, and you must take responsibility for them.

I was given this lesson earlier this week, which said: you wouldn’t excuse insane behaviour by saying that you couldn’t help it — and the same goes, for your thoughts.

Why would you excuse insane thoughts, as if they’re out of your control?

This really hit me; and I realized how true it is.

When you take responsibility for your thoughts, you realize you can change them, and you choose better ones.

You can.

Even if you don’t believe it.

Even though it doesn’t feel like it right now.

Even in the toughest times,

You can.

Good news, those negative (ego induced) thoughts, ARE NOT YOU.

They’re just an annoying AF roommate that we all have, and it’s your responsibility to learn how to deal with and spend less time with her.. or him 🙂

To guide you in this process, here’s 3 words to start telling yourself today:

  1. 🔮TRUST the process
  2. 💜EMBRACE where you are
  3. 🍷ENJOY the moment (good or bad, you’re growing)

You can begin by repeating these affirmations, and anytime negative limiting thoughts pop up, simply let them go — and replace them with new, empowering words that make you feel good.

If ever in doubt, follow these words, and you’ll find your way.

In life we try to know why things are happening, we challenge the process, and push to hurry up to “get there.”

When all we really need to know is that we will indeed be okay 🔮, clarity will come 💜, and we’re allowed to have joy in the process 🍷 (lol you don’t need wine for joy, but it was purple and it worked — insert your joyful emoji here).

Spring is a great reminder of what’s good in life — because all your seeds are starting to bloom, or you can start planting new seeds 💁.
