3 Tips To LET GO + Get What You Want

How GOOOOD does it feel to let go?

It’s that sweet feeling of LETTING GO of what’s no longer serving you — and creating space for new energy that’s actually aligned with you.

Last week I dropped off (donated) 12 garbage bags of things (clothes, shoes, books and everything in between ?) that don’t bring me joy. Thanks for that, Marie Kondo!

I made the decision based on what I simply have no room in my life (or loft) for anymore. Physically, energetically, spirituality and so on. 

When we let go, we open space for NEW to enter ✨. 

New people. New thoughts. New ideas. New creativity. New imaginations. New opportunities. New manifestations. 

Basically more of what’s aligned with who you are and what you want TODAY. 

As you start this new moment in your life (every day is a new opportunity to decide to change) what do you want to let go? 

As you know, this goes far beyond garbage bags of old sweaters and outdated blazers. 

You want to consider everything that you’ve been creating space for that isn’t serving you and your desires. 

This includes toxic people, soul sucking jobs, mundane routines, bad habits, self sabotaging behaviour, limiting beliefs — anything that’s STOPPING you from reaching your highest potential. 

Now you may be wondering, what’s MY highest potential and what do I want?

Here’s the truth.

When your heart desires something deep within your soul, you know exactly what it is.

It’s not something you can avoid, and put off any longer.

It scares the sh*t out of you, and therefore, you’re stuck in paralysis, holding on to things that keep you in your comfort zone — so you don’t have to DO anything about it.

You self sabotage, avoid, and tell yourself limiting things like, “I don’t deserve to do this,” “I’m not good enough,” or “I’ll probably fail, so what’s the point?” — to keep yourself safe.

The problem with this, is that you’ll never know the sweet feeling of actually becoming who you were meant to be.

To share your special gift, your unique magnificence, with the world — and make a REAL impact.

The good news is, you still have time.

Your heart’s still beating and it’s possible to get past the fear that’s been stopping you.

Here’s 3 tips to help you LET GO and start getting what you want:

1. DO YOU CARE? Ask yourself if you actually care about achieving your goal. The truth is, if it doesn’t really matter to you; you won’t do it. You won’t put in the work, time, and sacrifice that are required to make your dream happen. * Do this: picture your life one year from now and you’ve take no action on this goal. If the feeling you’re experiencing is gut wrenching (and worse that the fear you’re facing now) — your goal matters!

2. TAKE ONE STEP. Do something about it (anything!). Even if it feels small, it’s a step forward, and it will feel good. It’ll get you from stuck to action, and will start your momentum.

3. LISTEN TO YOUR INTUITION. Your gut instinct always wants the best for you. When you feel scared or overwhelmed, know that it may just be fear of success taking over, and ask your intuition what to do. Get yourself into a quiet space, take a deep breath, and pay attention to what your intuition wants to tell you. Journal about it for deeper reflection ?
