3 Steps To Improve Your Self Worth

Do you like to role play?

You know, those times when you get to play a make belief character or “act” in a certain way — that you secretly want to, but don’t have the confidence or courage to — in the REAL world.

Those moments when you express yourself in ways that push you out of your comfort zone and allow you to feel FREE.

I experienced this vividly, when I attended a Future Human themed party,  in Ibiza, Spain.  It was created as a futuristic fantasy where humans have transcended self and form to their highest selves — to our Future Human and it was incredible.

Although this wasn’t a major stretch for me (as I’m all about the future self visualizations + visioning), I got to take my vibe to an escalated level and witness many friends do the same.

As I watched the crowd step into their highest future selves, and have a great time in a new persona, I got thinking about something important…

The topic of SELF WORTH.

When people have “permission” to let loose with no judgement, they feel good — and I’m here to tell you, YOU DON’T NEED PERMISSION.

Not ONE ounce of your self worth is dependant on anyone else’s expectation or opinion of you ?

You have the power to go within and uncover the inner you, and the FREEDOM to be her, unapologetically.

This obviously goes far beyond themed parties and special occasions.

What if you wholeheartedly expressed yourself EVERY SINGLE DAY, with no boundaries?

How would you feel? What would you do? And how differently would you “show up” in the world?

To guide you in this process, here’s 3 steps to improve your self worth today:

  1. Accept where you are. You can’t move forward if you’re stuck in the past, or worried about the future. Breath in the moment you’re in right now, accept where you are, and be grateful for all the lessons (including the really difficult one) that got you here.
  2. Embrace who you are. Nobody’s perfect, and you’re no exception. You have strengths/weaknesses, light/dark, good/bad parts to you, which makes you a full and whole human being. When you love yourself for ALL that you are (wholeheartedly) you’ll begin to see yourself in new ways and appreciate what you have to offer.
  3. LIVE life to the fullest. Whether you’re in a temporary stage of growth or “challenge” you’re growing and you’re meant to enjoy the process. Know that nothing is permanent, things will change, and find joy in who you’re becoming along the way. Have FUN with it!

This party was a great reminder that we can BE who we want to be anytime, and when we fully express ourselves, we give others permission to do the same.

Not that they need permission, but you get it 😉

Once you’ve tried this out, I’d love to hear how this was for you.
