I spoke with a student yesterday, and she told me that she saw my recent trip to Europe, and said, “You’re one of the only coaches I know who actually lives what you teach.” Then she added, “I want to have serendipitous experiences just like you Tonia.”
Now she probably only saw my highlight reel of adventures, experiences and fun. And probably missed (or forgot about) the vulnerable things I shared.
Like not having my luggage for 5 days in Italy and being ‘stuck’ in a small town with no shops or public transportation, witnessing my ‘friend’ have a major (like totally toxic!) outburst on everyone around her, including me, or the many other travel challenges that happened along the way.
Of course I have difficult times and setbacks like everyone else.
In fact, at this moment, I’m in a transitionary stage, feeling all sorts of emotions, and I don’t have certainty on what my next step will be.
But one thing I DO have is trust.
Trust in myself. Trust in the universe. And trust in knowing that when I’m in my flow and alignment with my soul, I’m a magnet for miracles ✨.
Like ‘randomly’ running into the ONLY person that I know who lives in Germany (population 85 million) while I was in Berlin, seeing my name engraved in the pavement T-O-N-I-A in Central Park after asking the universe for a sign, and countless other magical encounters.
Moments like these happen when you’re connected to your highest self and paying attention to your intuition — which is always available to you. To everyone.
You just have to do some inner work to re-connect with your essence and start living in alignment with your purpose.
It’s much easier to numb out (drink excessively, waste time in toxic relationships / situations, complain with other complainers) and avoid.
Self sabotage can become a toxic habit that will keep you from becoming who you’re meant to be.
But there will come a day, when you know deep in your soul, that enough’s enough and you’re literally sick and tired of feeling sick and tired.
And that’s the moment where you will find the courage to do the inner work.
This could be YOUR moment.
It’s not an easy process, and it’s not for the weak of heart.
It’s for those who know you’re meant for more and you’re willing to take on the unknown.
You know that whatever you’re going to discover about yourself is better than this and you’re even starting to believe that you’re worth it.
Because I’ll tell you right now — you’re freaking worth it!! ❤️
You got this! And today’s the first day of the rest of your life.
With so much love and support,
Tonia xo
