If You Know Your ‘WHY’ — Let Go Of How

With just a few days left of the year, I got thinking about purpose.

Like why are we REALLY here?!

A few things crossed my mind, like: to help others, to be a good person and to leave a positive contribution to the world.

But deep down, I know there’s much more to it.

There’s no way that we are all here. Over 7 billion people, going through a global pandemic (and all its damn variants too), just to be good people and make an impact.

It’s impossible that the universe would create YOU — as unique as you are, with that special gift that only you have, not to become it. No freaking way.  🤔

But the problem is, how do you get started and find joy in the process so you don’t give up?

To be honest, when I first started following my passion and developing my business, I felt isolated, alone.. and even a bit crazy at times. 😅

I had sooo many ideas, but no clarity on HOW to put it all together.

Almost like an alchemist, trying to make something out of nothing. 🤯

But after years of hard work, failures, coaching and my new thing: therapy, I’ve come to realize that this is how ideas, passion and purpose works.

Even though you lose sight of it at times, or you completely lose your confidence (like I did).. your inner guidance won’t let you stop. 😇

As long as you know your WHY, don’t worry so much about the HOW.

Stay true to who you are and surround yourself with other believers with big dreams.

I know the feelings of isolation and loneliness are hard, especially around the holidays, and even more-so with all the new and ever changing social restrictions.

But know that you aren’t alone. Your dreams matter and are within you for good reason.

Even if you can’t fully articulate it yet, your passion is your purpose and you’ll always be supported to become who you were meant to be.

To support you in trusting the process, here’s 3 steps to get started:

  1. Accept where you are. You can’t move forward if you’re stuck in the past, or worried about the future. Breath in the moment you’re in right now, accept where you are, and be grateful for all the lessons (including the really difficult one) that got you here.
  2. Embrace who you are. Nobody’s perfect, and you’re no exception. You have strengths/weaknesses, light/dark, good/bad parts to you, which makes you a full and whole human being. When you love yourself for ALL that you are (wholeheartedly) you’ll begin to see yourself in new ways and appreciate what you have to offer.
  3. LIVE life to the fullest. Whether you’re in a temporary stage of growth or “challenge” you’re growing and you’re meant to enjoy the process. Know that nothing is permanent, things will change, and find joy in who you’re becoming along the way. Have FUN with it!

If you were to try this out for yourself, what’s the FIRST thing you need to accept in order to move forward?
